this is our thin body electric acoustic classical guitar.  we start out with a solid block of sapele mahogany and completely hollow it out. the sound chamber helps produce a surprising amount of acoustic tone which allows the player to hear the guitar in practice settings or other situations where plugging in is undesirable. we brace the top with a lattice bracing pattern which strengthens the top and giving more punch to the acoustic tone. the highly figured quilted maple top and the ornate exotic face plate add a stunning beauty to this instrument. we used or propriety deadbolt neck joint which gives this guitar the neck thru body feel but with the convenience of a bolt on. the heel is rounded and smooth making the guitar more comfortable to play and gives easier access to the upper frets. it also add incredible strength to the neck and increases the sustain of your tone. We chose the barbara soloist pickup for its high resistance to feedback and decreased string noise as well as for its crystal clear tone and naturalness. this guitar is perfect for larger band settings or any application where more volume is needed.
