New 16" Artisan with Built-In Pickup

when designing this guitar I decided to go a more traditional route with the tonal quality and modeled the sound more towards the older gibson 175. I had LIndy Fralin custom wind me his p92 hum-cancelling pickup to achieve this instead of using my own signature pickup. as a builder its always fun to mix things up a bit and I was looking for something a little different than what I normally do. I always loved that vintage p90 sound and set out to pay homage. all solid woods were used for the carved back and top, some cool oval inlays on the fingerboard, some nice wooden touches with the macassar ebony fingerboard, pickguard and tailpiece, plus the koa mounting ring for the pickup and the ornate brown maple stained birds'eye maple headstock veneer and you have one fine looking instrument. the acoustic tone is nice and warm which translates well through the single coil. the bass notes are solid without being muddy, the trebles are glassy without being brittle or harsh and it plays like a dream. definitely the perfect archtop for any player looking to up his game.
