NEW ROSEWOOD CABARET CLASSICAL

 SOLD

its always a nice change of pace when i get to build a guitar that is not spoken for. I love what i do and i love fullfilling someones idea of their dream guitar but sometimes its nice to just build something organically. i get to be creative and put things together in a way i might not otherwise for a custom order. i had a really great piece of master grade east indian rosewood that was just calling to me. i then paired it with a very warm and toasty looking cedar top. i decided to keep it simple with just the classic round sounhole rosette but then add just a hint of flair with the small vine inlay on the 12th fret. the pickup is the james may ultra tonic which is passive so it has no battery and is the most natural sounding pickup i have ever used to date. i just love the sound of the rosewood paired with the cedar… those trebels ring, the bass response is stellar and the mids are so warm and tasty, really the perfect combination for that beautiful classical sound.
