The Monarch Headstock
The Monarch headstock face is constructed from solid Ebony with a beautifully ornate inlay originally designed for John Buscarino by Robert Benedetto, master archtop builder. Comes standard with full binding and intricately mitered perflings. On the optional wood bound model, the headstock is multi-laminated with veneers of ebony and maple that are beveled to created a pinstripe effect. |
The Monarch Neck
The Monarch comes standard with a three-piece multi-laminate neck constructed from seasoned Rock Maple. The back of the headstock is laminated with a solid fiber composite veneer which adds strength and is then finished in the classic "V" archtop design. |

The Monarch Body
The Monarch body is constructed of the finest quality quarter-sawn AA Flame Maple back and sides. The top is carved from aged and seasoned Sitka Spruce. European Cello woods and Master-grade woods are available as an option. |
The Monarch Tailpiece
The Monarch comes standard with a true Buscarino innovative tailpiece. This superior performing tailpiece adds sustain and warmth to the performance of this and every Buscarino Archtop guitar. It is sculptured from a solid block of Ebony with a machined solid brass hinged bracket to couple the tailpiece to the body. |

The Monarch Pickguard
The Monarch comes standard with a one piece solid Ebony 3/16" thick pickguard. The compact design of this pickguard does not restrict the f-holes, allowing the sound to freely transfer from the body. A larger L-5 style pickguard with bracket is available as an option. Monarch guitars made with the wood binding option come standard with a multi-laminated and beveled pickguard |
The Monarch Binding
The Monarch comes standard with matching wood binding and delicately inlayed f-hole perfling to finish off the wood binding look. |

The Monarch Tuners
The Monarch comes standard with Schaller gold precision tuning machines with solid Ebony buttons. Gold buttons are available at no additional charge. |
The Monarch Pickups
The Monarch comes standard with the custom Buscarino Signature floating humbucker designed by Kent Armstrong. This pickup is specially tuned to maximize the performance of the archtop and enhance that classic jazz sound. This pickup was designed with special feedback reduction features and is molded into an ebonized epoxy compound for long life and superior performance. |
