The Artisan Headstock
The Artisan comes standard with a layered and beveled headstock of solid Ebony and Maple. The face plate is a single piece of solid Ebony inlayed with the Mother-of-Pearl Buscarino logo.
The Artisan Neck
The Artisan comes standard with a three-piece quarter-sawn multi-laminate neck constructed from Rock Maple.
The Artisan Body
The Artisan is constructed of the highest quality Quarter-Sawn nicely figured Single A Seasoned Flame Maple back and sides. The Top is carved from Single A aged and seasoned Sitka Spruce. Highly Figured triple A Woods are also available.
The Artisan Tailpiece
The Artisan comes standard with a true Buscarino innovative tailpiece. This superior performing tailpiece adds sustain and warmth to the performance of this and every Buscarino archtop guitar. It is sculptured from a solid block of Ebony with a machined, solid brass hinged bracket to couple the tailpiece to the body.
The Artisan Pickguard
The Artisan comes standard with a one piece solid Ebony 3/16" thick pickguard. The compact design of this pickguard does not restrict the f- holes, allowing the sound to freely transfer from the body. A larger L-5 style pickguard with bracket is available as an option.
The Artisan Binding
The Artisan comes standard with matching wood binding on the body and neck. F-holes are un-bound but inlayed perfling around the f-holes is available as an option (as shown.
The Artisan Tuners
The Artisan comes standard with Schaller gold precision tuning machines with Ebony buttons.
The Artisan Pickups
The Artisan comes standard with the custom Buscarino Signature floating humbucker designed by Kent Armstrong. This pickup is specially tuned to maximize the performance of the archtop and enhance that classic jazz sound. This pickup was designed with special feedback reduction features and is molded into an ebonized epoxy compound for long life and superior performance.
